Question by Nick P: AT&T Iphone 3gs “Off…” Symbol?
On my iPhone 3gs instead of the 3G symbol at the top left it says Off… What does this mean, am I getting exciting by going on the enternet mission people texting etc.
3g is enabled, also I am on vacation and when I leave my hotel and go down the street it gets 3g.

go to settings, then general, then network and click where it says enable 3g this should fix it! and no it’s not charging you extra you just aren’t connected to the 3g network therefore your internet and sms messages will not be as quick!
