@BuzzKeyur You must live in an area where a lot of people don’t use AT&T’s 3G network all the time because it would be much slower.
between 4-5 mbps on att 3g ive also gotten as a result
att says its hspa+ 4g goes to speeds of 6 mbps but im in southern california and I’ve had att 3g speed of up to 5mbps on my iphone 4 with the speedtest application so how does that work
speed tests are bs because it matters which place u live in or where u are but excellent video i appreciate it

@thelonewolf191 Go to Settings -> General -> Usage. The first option that should come available is “Battery Percentage”, just flip that ON and it should appear on the right hand corner.
How’d you get the battery percentage thing on the top right hand corner?
@joshnc101 Here are subdue several area’s that cable isn’t available, and I take place to live in one of those area’s. But just 5 minutes away from it is. So the maximum I am able to get is 6Mbps, which is average. It’s not terrible, my download speeds tend to be around 600kB/s
@joshnc101 Yes, that particular AT&T speed converted was approx. 420kB/s, which is a typical download speed for DSL. DSL speed’s range from 1.5Mbps – 10Mbps, anything above that is usually services though Cable internet.
Can you do a speed test with it set on kB/s? The other settings like Mbps and kbps don’t tell me much because I’m used to seeing kB/s download rates when downloading files on a computer. And no I don’t believe AT&T’s 3G download rate is 3+ megabytes per second. 3Mbps is more like 300+ kilobytes per second, pretty comparable to slower dsl and cable internet plans people would have.
